Paying privately for home care services, like those offered by Therapy to Me is becoming more of a necessity in today’s health care environment due to high insurance deductibles and/or limited number of covered therapy visits per calendar year. In addition, home care is the fastest growing segment of the health care industry, with more people in need of in-home care. Medicare limits its coverage to 60-day episodes of care. After that the burden of payment is on the individual or their family. However, there are many possible ways to afford Therapy to Me home care services. Many organizations associated with diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and cancer offer financial assistance to individuals who need help paying for home care services. Check with the local agency supporting your illness. Also, many religious organizations have funds available for their members. Some community organizations, and state and local governments, provide assistance for home health services. These organizations may pay for all or a portion of your home care services depending on your eligibility and financial circumstances. Hospital discharge planners, social workers, local offices on aging, and the United Way are great sources for information about community resources. The Veterans Administration (VA) also has programs which may pay for some private pay home care services. The spouse of a veteran may also qualify. Check with the VA for program information and eligibility requirements. Some insurances will reimburse you for your out of pocket health care expenses. We will provide you with any necessary paperwork to facilitate this reimbursement.
We are certified to bill Medicare for your treatment cost. Private insurances may or may not be billable. Call 707-684-9701 for more information.
